  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted and slightly cooled
  1. Preheat the waffle cone iron.
  2. Beat the egg, egg white and salt in a small bowl with a fork until well blended.
  3. Beat in the sugar and beat until sugar is well-incorporated.
  4. Add the flour and stir slowly and completely.
  5. Spoon about 3 tablespoons of batter in the center of the iron.
  6. Cook for about 1 minute.
  7. Quickly remove the waffle from the iron onto a paper towel.
  8. Use the paper towel to help wrap the hot waffle around the molding cone.
  9. Hold the waffle in place for a few seconds for the cone to cool and take the shape of the mold.
